Koko Dorado Beauty (“we”, “us”) is an Australian sole trader business. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what your rights are under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
What we collect
- Your name, email address, phone number, and shipping/billing address.
- Your order history — what you’ve bought, when, and order value.
- Basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, collected automatically via cookies and analytics.
- If you sign up to our mailing list: your name and email address, and your marketing consent status.
Why we collect it
- To process and deliver your order, including passing your shipping details to our delivery providers.
- To communicate with you about your order (confirmations, shipping updates, customer service).
- To send you marketing emails, but only if you’ve opted in — see “Email marketing” below.
- To understand how people use our site so we can improve it (analytics).
- To meet our legal and tax obligations as an Australian business.
Payment information
We never see or store your card details. All payments are processed directly by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. Stripe’s handling of your payment data is governed by Stripe’s own privacy policy, available at stripe.com/privacy.
Cookies and analytics
Our site uses cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, and understand site traffic through analytics tools. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site (like checkout) may not work properly without them.
Email marketing
If you sign up for our mailing list, we’ll only send you marketing emails with your consent. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email us directly to opt out at any time.
Access, correction and deletion
Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it’s wrong, or ask us to delete it. To do so, email us at the address below — we’ll respond within a reasonable time.
Data sharing
We share personal information only with the service providers needed to run our store — our payment processor (Stripe), our shipping/delivery providers, and our website/hosting and email tools. We don’t sell your personal information to third parties.
